Only a few days to go until the inaugural Highland Fling: Web standards in Scotland conference.

Tickets have been selling well, but I hear there’s still some available so if you’re at all passionate about the web standards cause or just want to hear the great speakers that are lined up, then get your ass over to the Highland Fling site and buy a ticket now.

I’m also really looking forward to the Refresh event the next day and hopefully this will be a chance to readdress the decidedly non-Scottish balance that some have already mentioned

Putting on a conference is a really difficult balance between choosing the big name speakers that pull in punters, while trying to ensure a mixed and varied line up. Personally I think Alan’s done a splendid job, but it’ll be nice for us Scots to show all the good work we’re doing, so the after conference events and Refresh should be exciting too.
