I’ve got a few ambitions in my life. Some personal ones like learning to play the piano, learning Japanese and run a marathon, and I’ve got some career ones as well. Some big; some small.

I achieved one of those smaller ambitions today when Renegade Zen was showcased on CSS Beauty. Alright, it may not be as lofty a goal as sailing the world single-handedly, but as a web designer who loves CSS design, it means a lot to me.

I’ve had plenty other sites showcased on CSS galleries, but never one of the big ones like CSS Beauty or Stylegala.

The site is still very much in development. I’ve got lots more little touches to add, and I’m open to all constructive criticism. Some people have already mentioned things which I’m taking on board, so if you have any suggestions fire away.

UPDATE: Best Web Gallery, CSS Bloom and CSS Mania also tipped their hat to the Zen.
