Martial Arts TV
Having studied various martial arts for many years this was a website that I relished getting involved with. Martial Arts TV is an energetic start-up company aimed at “Bringing the strength and beauty of martial arts to the world”.
What this translates to is a feature packed website where devotees of any styles of martial art can come to for entertainment, information and participate in the growing online community. Center stage in all of this is the Broadband TV station at the heart of Martial Arts TV. A pioneering first, this will allow users access to the first online Martial Arts TV station, broadcasting movies, fight clips, instructional videos and fun clips. There’s already a huge amount of content in the pipeline, with top quality fight action and martial arts movies lined in the offing.
Other features of the website include an online clothes shop, a community forum and blog, as well as a clubs and events database where people can post there own details about upcoming martial arts events or promote their organisation.
Apart from my own vested interested in the subject matter, I had a second reason to be particularly pleased about this particular project, as it marked the first collaboration between Net Resources and 16K design. 16K have been long time friends and we’ve been meaning to work together on something for a while. With Martial Arts TV, we finally got the chance.
16K were responsible for the brilliant initial design work on the site which was then passed on the Net Resources for development. That’s f**king teamwork!
