MYOmove
An exciting project for me, as not only is it a unique and clever idea, but it was my first Ruby on Rails project as well.
MYOmove is a property website that aims to distinguish itself from the masses of other property websites that have sprung up over the last few years. Instead of focusing on the properties, it concentrates on the people acting as a meeting place for buyers and sellers who want to make a private house sale or purchase.
Buyers or sellers can sign up for free and advertise where they want to buy or sell, the system then automatically matches them with other suitable buyers or sellers, and they can chat through the websites’ internal messaging system.
The whole idea is to make it easier to find a buyers for your home, or someone who’s selling your perfect property. And there’s no estate agent fees too!
Like I said, it’s a brilliant idea, and I’m sure one that’s going to be a huge success.
