Net Resources
This is my 4th redesign for the Net Resources, the web design company in Scotland where I work. Without a doubt, this is the best version of the site so far, both in terms of how it looks and works.
Finally, we’ve got rid of all the old tables that were hanging about, and it’s a nicely web standards compliant site now.
A big move was our decision to move the entire blog and other parts of the site over to Textpattern. I was dreading importing almost 1000 old posts from Blogger, but it turned out to be a breeze, and now the site is much easier to manage.
Other new features in the site are a dedicated recruitment section aimed at web designers, developers and IT professionals in Scotland and around the UK. Designers can post their CV’s and employers can search for candidates. We think it’ll be a valuable resource for the industry once it’s up and running.
All in all, a job well done by everyone on the team at Net Resources. I just don’t want to have to do it again in a hurry!
